New Year’s Eve in Kokomo

New Year’s Eve is upon us. You need not travel out of town for fun! We invite you to head downtown to enjoy dinner at one of our delicious restaurants.

Boondocks Food & Spirits Kokomo will be hosting a 5-course dinner.  Reservations available by calling 765-450-8384. Click here to be directed to their delectable NYE menu.

The District will have live music and a champagne toast at midnight. Reservations are available for two seatings, 7:00PM or 9:15PM, by calling 765-456-3663. They are offering prime rib, served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus, for $18.99.

Cook McDoogal’s will be serving food & drinks, and more! While their reservations are full, you can enjoy the bar or get on the list for the tables as they become available.

Then, beginning at 10:30PM, join us downtown on the square for live entertainment from X-Sight Music, a 32,000-light ball drop from TechnoKats Robotics Team, and a fireworks show at midnight! This event is appropriate for ALL AGES! The schedule of events is as follows:

• 10:30 pm – Music, light, and stage show by X-sight Music
• 11:00 pm – Lighting of the ball by Boy Scouts of America Troop 523
• 11:59 pm – Ball drop and countdown to midnight
• 12:00 am – Fireworks display from courthouse roof

New Year’s Day in Kokomo

The fun continues into New Year’s Day as January 1st happens to fall on First Friday! Come downtown from 5:30-9:00PM to enjoy First Friday! As always, this monthly event is family friendly. While our January First Friday event is a little more low key this year, there are still great things happening. This includes the grand opening  of vintage music store American Dream Hi Fi  at 109 E. Sycamore Street.
