Kokomo One of 2 Indiana Metros Among Top Foreclosure Cities

WASHINGTON – Terre Haute and Kokomo have some of the highest foreclosure rates among metropolitan areas, according to a report released Thursday.

Terre Haute ranked 23rd with an 8.8 percent foreclosure rate, and Kokomo was 24th with an 8.5 percent rate in December, according to foreclosure- response.org, a site that tracks mortgage delinquency and foreclosure rates.

For the most recent December ratings, the Indianapolis area ranked 66th among the 366 metro areas, with a 6.5 percent foreclosure rate.
