These are extraordinary times. Unfortunately, scammers try to take advantage of people during times such as these. To assist consumers, the three major credit bureaus have teamed up to help people keep an eye on their financial health during the pandemic.

Equifax, Experian and TransUnion announced yesterday they’re all offering free weekly credit reports until April 2021. The ability to check your report more than three times per year can be crucial in the constantly changing situation we are currently in.

The free reports are available at annualcreditreport.com. (Normally, you can only get your free credit report from each of the bureaus once per year)

This is a soft credit inquiry, so your score won’t be negatively impacted since you’re the one requesting to review your own credit history.
