Hoosier Homes pairs with FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae HFA Preferred, and Freddie Mac HFA Advantage — all as 30-year fixed first mortgages.
The DPA layer sits behind a supported first mortgage. Your credit, DTI, occupancy, and property still have to clear both the first lien and Hoosier Homes — Ryan and Steve structure the pairing so overlays do not conflict.
Assistance remains 4% or 5% of the first mortgage amount based on location, regardless of which supported loan type you use.
If a product outside this list is a better fit for your scenario, they will screen other Indiana DPA options instead of forcing a mismatched stack.
These are the main loan types that work with Hoosier Homes DPA.
