Hoosier Homes
5% Plus Eligibility
You need both a participating county and a designated Targeted Area (usually a census tract). County alone is not enough for the 5% tier.
For Hoosier Homes Plus, the property must sit in an approved participating county and within a designated Targeted Area — typically a specific census tract or qualified community area, not the entire county map.
That designation unlocks 5% of the first mortgage toward down payment or closing costs and may waive standard county income limits.
Verification happens against Exhibit A of the program guidelines or inside the DASH reservation portal when the loan is registered — not by guessing from a city name.
Run these in order so your pre-approval and offer strategy match the real assistance tier.

Send Ryan & Steve the property address. They will confirm whether you are looking at 4% standard or 5% Hoosier Homes Plus before you write the offer.
